A study on general styles of Horror Posters

Based on what I have seen, and studied on a deeper level, the colour tone for movie posters for the "Unfriended" franchise tend to have cooler colours, often with black and blues being a major colour due to the colour blue often being associated with technology. "Glitched" effects are also just as frequently used, albeit as extra  detail rather than the main point. Noticeably, I typically see faint black lines, an effect seen on a broken monitor or when attempting to take pictures of a monitor at a distance.
